Scars RPG is a survival game with classic old school sensibilities but modern design. Exploration is dangerous, and the Social systems make roleplaying encounters as tense as the Combat. The Scars mechanic ensures that death is never too far away and not the only thing to fear. It’s fast, deadly, and far from heroic fantasy. Can you survive?

I was inspired to create this game because inviting newcomers to RPGs can sometimes be a challenge. Hundreds of rules, steep learning curves, and heavy textbooks can scare off too many players. Character progression begins small and allows players to keep advancements as simple or become as expansive and diverse as they choose.
